Father's Day

Hello my dear! I hope you have had a great week, and I hope your finger is healing well. I know I don’t handle pain well, but I remember my finder hurting for a long time after I dislocated it. Hopefully you are less bothered! I’m excited to hear your transfer information. I hope Elder Daines had a good trip hope and that things are going smoothly with your new companion! This is what we’ve been up to this week: Ethan got to go to St. George with the Farmington basketball players for a tournament. They won their bracket! Ethan says he didn’t shoot great ,  but otherwise played well.  Tate and Gavin got to go to summer camp at their music teacher’s house. They had a great time playing and doing art projects and making their favorite “trail mix.” Dad’s birthday was on Wednesday, but he had mutual that night. Grandma and Grandpa Rawson took us out to dinner at Orlando’s (Dad’s favorite) and we decided to celebrate and open presents on Saturday instead.  On Thursday we spent ...

Hey there Ty! I hope you had a wonderful week. It looks like you’ve injured your finger. I dislocated my pinky when I was your age and I still remember how much it hurt! I hope it heals up well. Of course I did.  Wednesday we packed up for our Rawson family vacation in Mt Pleasant. We left late and hit traffic. Of course we did. It was getting dark when we arrived at the property and our navigation took us on a bit of a detour up a very narrow dirt road with a drop off to the side.  We had to eventually back down the road, but managed to arrive safely. We rented a huge house on a large propert...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hello my dear! I hope you had a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It’s hard for me to not be able to give you a big hug on your special day! You’ve been away for over a year and we miss you! I’m sorry I didn’t get to talk to you much on Tuesday night when you called. It was hard to hear with everyone over celebrating Mike’s birthday. So I’m looking forward to talking tonight and getting a good update from you.  This is what we were up to this week: Monday was Memorial Day and Dad was home from work. We did some work in the morning and then Dad took the boys golfing at Mt Ogden all day. Some rode in a cart and others walked and all came home exhausted and happy.  Michael woke up and attempted the “Murph” Monday morning before golfing. He will have to tell you how many of each exercise he was able to complete. But buy the time he was done golfing that day he was toast! Tuesday night we celebrated Michael’s birthday a day early with chicken fajitas and Funfetti cake. Michael got a new climbin...
