Hey Ty— Great to talk to you today. I hope you enjoy seeing the temples on your p-day, and I hope you get a nice haircut! I’m looking forward to hearing about transfers. I’m very pleased to hear about the clean state of your bathroom, and jealous about the massage you got. Now I’m thinking I may need to schedule one for myself.  You heard some of this already, but this is what we were up to this week: 1. Mike got a job working at the library on campus, and it sounds like it’s going to be flexible so he can have weekends off, so that will be really nice for him. He needed his passport and ID for the paperwork for his job, so he rode the train home on Monday and asked me to meet him at Station Park. I was there to meet him, but he never got off the train, so I looked at Find Friends and he was headed in a straight line to Layton. I realized he must have fallen asleep on the train, so I pinged his phone to wake him up. Luckily it worked or he might have ridden all the way to the end of th

Hi Ty! Hope you had a great week! Will we get to talk to you? I’m looking forward to hearing if the baptism went well on Friday. Hope you are feeling better and your ears are all cleared up.  We had another fun and busy week. 1. Uncle Matt was put into the bishopric last Sunday. He will do a great job. 2. Michael has been looking for a job, and was offered one working in the library. The pay isn’t great, but it sounds like it will be flexible and I think he’s excited about it.  Michael’s apartment has an empty room in it right now. The layout is very similar to the apartments at Centennial. Michael is rooming with Tanner. And Schlenney & Caleb are together. But the other two guys have never showed up. I think Michael said they saw a past-due rent notice for one of them. And maybe the other one is deployed and they are holding open a spot in the apartment for when he returns? Who knows, but for now they have a guest room and a convenient spot to store their bikes! Michael and his fr

Hello dear Ty! It was great to talk to you on Sunday night. I’m sorry you’ve been sick, and hope the medicine works and you are feeling better soon. Please tell the sister who made you go to the doctor thank you from me! I appreciate her looking out for you and taking care of you. The city of Kuala Lumpur looks so beautiful. It must be cool to ride the elevated train around and get a good view of the city. I’m glad you had a good time at zone conference and had the opportunity to go out finding in an area with a lot of people to talk to! I hope you are able to contact that guy who lives is Sibu again! I’m really happy to hear that your friend is ready to be baptized this week. I hope everything goes really smoothly for that. The branch party and mid-autumn festival sounds like a lot of fun. I love hearing when you have opportunities to be out contacting a lot of people, and I love to hear when people are so kind for no reason (like the lady who gave you cheesecake!). Isn’t it so cool t
