HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Hello my dear! I hope you had a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY! It’s hard for me to not be able to give you a big hug on your special day! You’ve been away for over a year and we miss you! I’m sorry I didn’t get to talk to you much on Tuesday night when you called. It was hard to hear with everyone over celebrating Mike’s birthday. So I’m looking forward to talking tonight and getting a good update from you.  This is what we were up to this week: Monday was Memorial Day and Dad was home from work. We did some work in the morning and then Dad took the boys golfing at Mt Ogden all day. Some rode in a cart and others walked and all came home exhausted and happy.  Michael woke up and attempted the “Murph” Monday morning before golfing. He will have to tell you how many of each exercise he was able to complete. But buy the time he was done golfing that day he was toast! Tuesday night we celebrated Michael’s birthday a day early with chicken fajitas and Funfetti cake. Michael got a new climbin...

Hey Ty! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week! As always, I’ve been thinking of you and look forward to talking soon. We have had such a crazy busy week. We did a lot of fun things, but I’m exhausted and a little bit relieved it’s over! Here’s my travelogue: I took a sourdough bread making class at a neighbor’s house. Tate’s baseball team did not win very many games this season. But by some miracle they won all three tournament games! So Tate came home with a trophy and a medal and he was stoked! Jett’s baseball teams weren’t so lucky unfortunately!  Ethan also had several games in his basketball tournament. I think he played pretty well. I saw two of his games. The first game he had two 3-pointers plus a few other points. The second game he had 6 ...

Hello my dear! I’ve been thinking about you all week and wishing there was a way for me to wave a magic wand to solve all of the contacting problems for you! I know you are making the best of a difficult situation and I’m proud of you. I hope you are able to find creative ways to accomplish your goals and to keep your spirits high. You are good at motivating others, so if you can keep a positive attitude, that will spread to others around you. I received a kind text from someone who was traveling in Singapore and met you at church. She said you were talking to all the people around you and being a source of light—which is one of your gifts for sure. I hope you had a great week, and I look forward to talking to you soon! This is a double-up email, because I didn’t finish writing last week. We’ve been busy! Ethan turned 15 last Monday! Watch out world—he’ll be getting his driver’s permit next week! We got him a season pass to Snow Basin for next year, and I hope he’s excited about it! Tu...
