Just Chillin'

Hello boys! I sure miss you. Sometimes it just seems so quiet here without you two. But I am so happy that you are where you are doing missionary work. You are both such hard working, obedient missionaries. I love to see it! Blake, you haven’t looked great the last few times we had phone calls. Try to stay away from mosquitos and cats. And maybe don’t eat any more frogs? IDK. Maybe that’s just me. I’m so glad you’ve got so many teaching opportunities, and I’m glad you get to keep your companion. I really liked the story you shared about gaining the gift tongues just along enough to share your testimony. I hope the language just keeps steadily improving. Ty, you seem so happily engaged in a good cause. I love seeing you take on new leadership responsibilities. Hearing about the missionaries having visa troubles and needing to be emergency transferred makes me sad for them. What a pain! Hello boys! I hope you had a fantastic week, and I’m looking forward to talking to you both. If I remember right, Ty’s p-day will be on Wednesday this week, so I’ll have to wait a little longer to talk to him.  We had a fun, festive week. This is what we were up to: Tate’s basketball season has started. He had his first couple of games this week. Dad’s been working with him to go after rebounds and he’s making improvement! Tuesday morning I took Jett to Dr. Brown’s office to get his braces on. He was not happy about the whole thing. he’s a bit moody these days! Sigh. Comes with the age I suppose. He was scheduled to get them after Halloween, but his trays came in early and they bumped up his appointment. I think the trays are way better than actual braces, but they are still a pain for sure.  While I was at Dr. Brown’s office I heard someone talking about the new garments being available in stores in the US that day. She said there were lines out the door at distribution ...
