Summer is winding down

Hello, hello! I haven’t heard from you since I sent the last email, so I don’t really have anything new to respond to. I hope you are loving life, and have had a great week. Everyone is asking about you and excited for your return.Hopefully we will get to talk tomorrow. In the mean time, this is what we’ve been up to: 1. Last weekend Dad and I went to a firm event in the Bees suites for dinner, ballgame, and fireworks. It was a fun night out. They had the cast of the Sandlot reunited at the game for a Q&A to celebrate (30!) years since the movie came out.   2. Phoenix night was at the same time as the bees game, so we missed it, but Jett and Blake got to play. Blake said he didn’t take a bad hit, but he had a headache after the game. It turned into a migraine over the weekend. Excedrin wasn’t cutting it and he was miserable. Hello my dear! I promise I haven’t forgotten you. I’m thinking about you all the time in fact, and we are making plans for you to come home. We are all pretty excited to see you!. I’m so glad you were able to go back to Allston to finish out your mission with Elder Finch. We loved hearing about your temple experience, and I’m so glad you were able to reconnect with Steve and Felicia. It sounds like the mission is really successful and growing right now which is very exciting. We are so proud of all the hard work and effort you’ve put in during your time there. We have had a busy summer, and I’m feeling a bit unmoored—totally disconnected from my regular routines. Honestly, at this point everything is a blur.  What day is it even? 1. We’ve had a few lazy afternoons at Cherry Hill, but not nearly as many as I would have liked. 2. I'm spending a surprising amount of time driving kids around. Ethan is going to/from TOSH in Murray, to/from the golf course, and has theater camp this week

Sequoia 2023

Saturday we drove from Anaheim to our place near Sequoia and Kings Canyon National park. Bramhall reunion! We stopped at the Costco about an hour away to pick up groceries and had to be very judicious about what we bought so we could fit it all in the car! We just happened to run into Nana and Grandpa which was funny. It was BLAZING hot outside, so everyone came in to Costco for a pit stop and food while I shopped. Dad gassed up, and it was actually pretty efficient stop.   We arrived at the house and it was …interesting. Actually, it was kind of a weird place with add-ons, and a lot of bunk beds. There was some speculation that it might have been a Christian meeting place, but who knows. There were a lot of bedrooms and bathrooms which was fantastic for the group, but the place was pretty filthy. We were not allowed to flush toilet paper because of the septic system, and we saw our first mouse and huge spider the first night. Luckily Jett didn’t freak out too bad about the mouse like
