Letters to my Children

Dear Ty, Hello, Hello! It was great to talk to you tonight as always. I’m sorry that the work in Sibu is hard and discouraging. But I am glad to see you continuing to work hard and learning to depend on the Lord. Don’t give up, and don’t compare yourself to other missionaries. Just continue to trust and do your best. I hope you have a restful p-day, and a fantastic week. And I hope your cookies and hot pot are delicious! 1. Whew—this was a long week. Re-entry to real life was rough after being out of town for so long. I did so much laundry this week. Honestly so many loads of laundry. I felt like the entire week I was just trying to dig out from piles of stuff all over the house that accumulated while I was gone. Plus the added mess of halloween costumes and candy and pumpkins and decorations. It was a lot. 2. Halloween was really fun. I took Tate and Jett to Scary Hill on Monday night. Hey there Ty! It was so good to talk to you tonight! I hope you have a great p-day and have the opportunity to rest and relax before heading back out to work tonight. It was fun to hear about your week of traveling. Once again I’m grateful that you weren’t detained by immigration officials. Yikes. The food photos you sent look delicious. Personally I think having a hot, savory noodle dish for breakfast sounds like a great way to start the day. I’m glad to see you looking healthy and happy. Keep up the good work! I had a great week, but I’m exhausted! 1. On Monday Blake and Dad and I went back to Universal Studios. I was more selective with which rides I went on, but I did enjoy the Harry Potter rides and the Jurassic park ride. The technology on these rides is so impressive.  Blake enjoyed the rides, but he was wanting more rollercoasters.
