Sooo—I’m realizing that I spent a ton of time writing this email to you and then I think I forgot to send it? My apologies for not writing for so long! August 1, 2022 Dear Michael—missing you as always! Hope you are well. 1. We celebrated Tate’s 4th birthday. He has been waiting for his birthday FOREVER! He was So excited it was finally his turn. He requested a strawberry cake, and that was a hit.  He got a brand new bike with training wheels, a remote control boat, a soccer ball and a bubble maker. The Staples were able to join us too. 2. We had a fun dinner at my parents’ house to celebrate Tanner’s graduation. He’s all finished with his residency! Such a big accomplishment. Dana and Tanner took a trip to Hawaii, and the kids are staying with my parents. 3. Ethan played in a basketball tournament at Corner Canyon, and at the end of his last game, his knee buckled under him. He was screaming on the floor in pain. Poor kid. Hey Michael! Very exciting to be going back to Allston and Elder Braby! Hope this is a good transfer for you. Is it frustrating to be disrupted in the middle of teaching people in a certain area? I bet that would be hard. Good thing you can still stay connected to the ward regardless of the area you are assigned to. I’m so proud of all the hard work you are doing, and the growth that I can see happening. I know you are a good missionary and are making a positive difference in the lives of those you teach and interact with.  Not a very exciting week around here. It’s been sooooo hot. I’ve summer, but I don’t think its my favorite season anymore. Probably fall is my favorite. Winter will always be my least favorite! 1. So…my back still hurts. Seems like it gets a little better every day, and then I’ll have a really bad day mixed in here and there. I got some x-rays done and they couldn’t see anything specific in my back, but y neck has a degenerated disk.  Lame. Starting Physica...

Hello Michael! I hope you had a great week. It was great to be able to talk to you on Monday and I loved your letter! I’m always so surprised when people tell me they love your emails—because who has the time to read emails from other people’s kids?! Lol. I think a lot of people enjoy following your mission and hearing what you are working on. I’m looking forward to hearing how transfers went and where you will be! I’m so glad you had the opportunity to ordain Patrick Ling, and hope that was a great experience for both of you. I love that you appreciate and enjoy all of the different people and personalities that you get to interact with. Keep working hard! We had a busy couple of weeks. This is what’s going on: 1. The week before last, Ethan had all-day basketball camp at FHS. He was in heaven. Jett and Tate took swim lessons at the Jacob’s house. Tate is sooo excited about swim lessons.  2. On Wednesday I threw out my back. It’s bad. I wasn’t even doing anything strenuous, but th...
